Are you interested in spending time outside, learning about your natural surroundings, and being a part of protecting Lowell’s special places?

Do you want to become an advocate, citizen scientist, and a regular volunteer?

Join us on the Concord River Greenway for a volunteer land steward orientation!  We will give an overview of the different LP&CT properties and introduce the skills and ecological knowledge needed to help maintain them.

Meet at the parking lot behind Middlesex Community College (51 Davidson Street). Please come prepared with sturdy shoes and water for the morning. Gloves, field guides, nature journals and other tools will be provided!

This training will also include an invasive or non-native plant identification and removal training.
